Helmy v. Helmy was an action by a former wife against her former husband for lottery winnings he admittedly won and hid from her by having his brother collect the winnings. The brother and his wife and his sister and her husband also alleged that they were the real winners. The court found that the wife was entitled to damages for conspiracy and punitive damages against her former husband and others.
