British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Greaves v. Grace, 2009 BCSC 394 (CanLII):

At the conclusion of my written reasons for judgment, Greaves v. Grace 2008 BCSC 1529, I provisionally ordered that the plaintiff should have costs, with the exception that the defendant have costs for preparation and attendance for one day of trial, and 10 units for other pre-trial preparations in relation to the dismissal of the claims for punitive/exemplary and aggravated damages. I invited counsel to make further submissions on costs if they wished.
