Cullity J. carefully reviewed the limitations imposed on the plaintiff’s claim as set out in Gauthier v. Saint-German, 2010 ONCA 309 (CanLII)[1]. Gauthier v. Saint-German, supra, changed the legal landscape for claims against universities. Previous cases had decided that the courts have no jurisdiction over claims against a university that involve questions of an academic nature.
