How has a calculation error been considered in family law cases?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Berthin v Berthin, 2015 BCSC 78 (CanLII):

For example, a calculation error by one party as part of a family separation agreement was considered in Akenhead v. Akenhead, 2000 BCCA 249. The error related to one party’s valuation of some paintings and after the separation agreement was signed she refused to comply with the agreement on the basis of that error. At trial, the agreement was upheld and a subsequent appeal was denied.
