What is the current state of the relationship between the parties and the children?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from T.M.1 v. T.M.2, 2004 ABQB 948 (CanLII):

This is an interim application heard in special family law chambers. I believe that in the absence of evidence and reasons to the contrary that would require me to change the status quo, that matters should generally remain the same as between the parties vis-à-vis the children. [see for example Frost v. Frost (1990), R.F.L. (3d) 80 (B.C.C.A.)].
