The following excerpt is from Lake Merced Golf and Country Club v. Ocean Shore Railroad Co., 206 Cal.App.2d 421, 23 Cal.Rptr. 881 (Cal. App. 1962):
In the second Doelger appeal and in the present record there is ample showing that appellant has voluntarily conveyed or [206 Cal.App.2d 442] otherwise lost various substantial sections of its right of way. (Ocean Shore R. R. Co. v. Doelger, supra, 179 Cal.App.2d 222, 229, 3 Cal.Rptr. 706.) The recent decision in Ocean Shore v. City of Santa Cruz, 198 A.C.A. 274, 17 Cal.Rptr. 892, involves the loss of a portion of the right of way to the City of Santa Cruz through the operation of the statute of limitations.
