Does the definition of reasonable doubt in Cal.C.CRCRIM No. 220, 220, give rise to a claim that it does not properly define reasonable doubt?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from People v. Song Vang, C058461 (Cal. App. 2/18/2010), C058461. (Cal. App. 2010):

Defendant contends that CALCRIM No. 220, given in this case, does not correctly define reasonable doubt. In his reply brief, defendant acknowledges that in People v. Guerrero (2007) 155 Cal.App.4th 1264, we rejected this claim, but states he wishes to preserve it for federal review. We adhere to our view that the instruction is correct.
