With respect to Krystal, Dablon admits "[a] specific objection was not lodged to Krystal [ ] having a support person while she testified." Generally, the failure to object at trial constitutes a waiver. Dablon urges us not to apply this general rule, relying on People v. Kabonic (1986) 177 Cal.App.3d 487, 223 Cal.Rptr. 41.
