The following excerpt is from J.N. v. D.G., 2015 NBQB 115 (CanLII):

Her comments reflect the wording of s. 17(9) of the Divorce Act that require the motion judge to strive to achieve maximum contact with each parent. Of course, maximum contact must be contextualized, that is, it must be a reflection of the reality the child has lived with her parents up to this point in her life. Doing so complies with guideline 7(a) and (b) of Gordon v. Goertz.
