Awards have also been made for loss of amenity in cases involving cutting of trees on someone else's property in recognition of the loss of use and enjoyment the plaintiffs will suffer as a result of a less than perfect restoration. These damages are at large and based on an estimate of the value of the loss of amenities for the plaintiffs: Graw v. Rockwell, 2010 BCSC 1295.
