Once the Minister has been so informed, he or she has no power to refuse the Credit Split except in limited circumstances (MHRD v. Weimer (1998), 1998 CanLII 7963 (FCA), 42 R.F. L. (4th) 242 (FCA)). None of the exceptions apply in this case. The Credit Split Was Made For the Correct Time Period
