In Green v. Green, supra the court noted that determination of percentage of time should not be an exact science. In this case, the effect of the joint custody order is to give the children equal access to each parent. The issue is, therefore, the quantum of child support. In Green, the court pointed out that all of s.9 (a), (b), and (c) should be considered without giving undue weight to s.9(a). There should be evidence as to the increased cost of shared parenting and the conditions, needs, and means of both spouses. There is no definitive formula to use in the exercise of discretion under this section.
