Is there any credibility issues relating to the pension?

Besides the potential credibility issues relating to the pension, there is also conflicting evidence on the issue of whether Jacob remains a child of the marriage. The lack of sufficient evidence concerning the child support claims also hinders fact-finding. There is insufficient information to enable the court to find the necessary facts respecting the child maintenance issues, including details of when and where the children attended school, the children’s employment and income, any scholarships, bursaries or student loans or their respective expenses. Given that they are, respectively, 22 and 19 years old, such facts are potentially relevant to a determination of appropriate child support. (See Neufeld v. Neufeld, 2005 BCCA 7, and De Beck v. De Beck, 2012 BCCA 465).
