What are the implications of a court finding that all of the unresolved terms can be implied by law?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Boult Ent. Ltd. v. Bissett, 1985 CanLII 260 (BC CA):

Before leaving Can. Square v. Versafood, I note that there the court found that all of the unresolved terms could be implied by law whereas, in this case, the design of the house and the amount to be paid for it could not be implied. Nevertheless, the basic issues are similar and the approach taken to them is of assistance.
