5. A verified complaint may have evidentiary value as an affidavit. See Schroeder v. June 6, 2012) ("A verified complaint can, if based on personal knowledge, serve as the equivalent of an affidavit for purposes of a motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction.").
