"[I]t is well settled that a plea bargain may include a waiver of the right to appeal." (People v. Buttram (2003) 30 Cal.4th 773, 791 (conc. opn. of Baxter, J.).) "'Waivers may be manifested either orally or in writing. [Citation.] The voluntariness of the waiver is a question of law which appellate courts review de novo. [Citation.]' [Citation.]" (Id. at p. 792.) Defendants may also waive custody credits as part of their plea agreements.
