Generally, a party may recover attorney fees only when they are authorized by statute, law or agreement. (Santisas v. Goodin (1998) 17 Cal.4th 599, 606.) Morley contends the trial court erred in awarding attorney fees arguing they were unfounded and excessive.8 We disagree.
