Can an objection by the purchaser be dismissed if the objection is groundless?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Gubbels v. Fitterer et al, 2006 BCSC 795 (CanLII):

Cameron v. Hull is a decision which, in some respects, parallels the present case. Sutherland J., on a vendor and purchaser application, refused to decide if an objection by the purchaser was groundless and, in dismissing the application, gave the vendor leave to "seek such other remedy as he may be advised".
