Clearly, the facts in Brown v. Baum are completely different than those before me in this case. More to the point, however, I observe that in the Brown v. Baum case, there was a continuing doctor-patient relationship in which the doctor continued to treat the patient for the same or related condition. That ongoing treatment by the doctor had the potential to remedy most, if not all, of the damage sustained.
