Is a claim by a plaintiff that she is unable to work due to medical issues valid?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from McCallum v. Seguin, 2021 ONSC 4246 (CanLII):

In Bath v. Bath, 2010 ONSC 1630, Spies J. considered a claim by the wife that she was unable to work due to medical issues. The court found that the claimant did not provide adequate proof to support her contention that she was unable to work (para. 87).

In Soares v. Machado, 2017 ONSC 743, the court considered the fact that expenses which had been deducted ought not to have been deducted and the court imputed a higher income.
