The parties agree that the test for unjust enrichment is as set out in B2B v. Shane, 2020 NSCA 15 at para.24: 1. One party is enriched by the receipt of a benefit or relief from loss; 2. The other party suffered a corresponding deprivation; and 3. The enrichment and corresponding deprivation occurred in the absence of a juristic reason.
