As I have concluded that the worker was exposed to a significant workplace stressor, it is unnecessary for me to consider whether those events also constitute a traumatic event. It is also therefore unnecessary for me to consider the aspects of Atkins v. British Columbia (Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal), 2018 BCSC 1178 which deal with adjudicating traumatic events.
