were actually biased against defendant. ( People v. Weatherton , supra , 59 Cal.4th at p. 598, 174 Cal.Rptr.3d 45, 328 P.3d 38.) In addition to excusing the two jurors, the trial court questioned the remaining jurors and alternate jurors, who all replied they were able to fulfill their duties as jurors and agreed not to form or express any opinion about the case until the matter was submitted.
