Does the Court of Appeal have any jurisdiction to interfere in a finding of fact from the lower courts?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from Newman v Hayter Drilling Ltd, 2011 SKQB 391 (CanLII):

Therefore, as long as the lower courts’ conclusion represents a reasonable inference from the facts the appellate court will not interfere (See H.L, supra) and an appellate court will not review a findings of fact if there was some evidence upon which the court could have reached that conclusion (See Housen v. Nikolaisen 2002 SCC 33, [2002] 2 S.C.R. 235).
