Provided there is no concern that allowing an appeal by consent would be misused or otherwise bring the administration of justice into disrepute (Nethery v. Lindsey Morden Claim Services Limited, 1999 BCCA 340), I accept the general proposition that an appeal can be allowed by consent if doing so will benefit both parties.
