Section 65(1)(f) is a broad and inclusive factor and a court can consider it despite the absence of exceptional circumstances. See Margolese v. Margolese (1981), 1981 CanLII 534 (BC CA), 24 R.F.L. (2d) 176 (B.C.C.A.) 182. It includes, in addition to a consideration of the parties’ capacities and liabilities, a consideration of the role or contributions of each spouse with respect to changes in the family assets. See Johnstone v. Johnstone (1981), 1981 CanLII 701 (BC SC), 26 R.F.L. (2d) 18 (B.C.S.C.).
