116 On a charge of conspiracy, where the existence of the conspiracy alleged has been established beyond a reasonable doubt, the acts and declarations of co-conspirators in furtherance of that conspiracy are admissible against any accused whose probable membership in the conspiracy has been independently established by evidence directly admissible against him or her; Regina v.
